CenterPoint Counseling and Consulting is a private psychotherapy practice  located in downtown Chambersburg, PA.  We specialize in improving relationships and overall life quality for children, adolescents, adults and couples of all ages. 
Our treatment includes a wide range of process and outcome based integrative modalities which include proven emotional and behavioral interventions.  These include talk therapy, expressive and play therapies and mindful, creative methods to support expanded growth and development.     

Services include for therapy include:
 Adults:  Treat many unwanted symptoms from anxiety, depression, eating disorders, fear, loss or stress.  Career confusions and natural life transitions are supported and addressed.  Gain mastery over difficult emotional or physical experiences, break and change unwanted habits in the mind and body and rediscover the confidence and uniqueness within yourself.

Children and Adolescents:  Opposition, symptoms of ADHD and PDD are common diagnosis and symptoms treated.   Divorcing families with children are often clients at CenterPoint.   Play therapy begins age 3 years and older.   Children and adolescents use projective sand art and drama techniques to externalize life situations and express what they just don’t know how to verbalize yet.  

Couples, Marriages:  Reduce conflict.  Experience how much more satisfying your intimate relationship can be.  Work to improve cycles of relating to reduce unwanted conflict and distress.   Improve communication so that unwanted and unhelpful psychological defenses are removed and the core listening and sharing between two people can begin.

The practice accepts self-pay and selected in and out of network private insurances.   EAP contracts are also available for various local employers.  Call for details and current fee schedule.
